 Nat Moss Art

My name is Nat (Natalie) Moss but known as Nat Moss Art in the art world. I am a 37 year old self taught artist based in the Middlesbrough area of England, I strive to provide beauty through art for my audience. I hope to expand knowledge and creative expertise across all endeavours. I am committed to providing clients with the best possible experience through artistic expression. I revel in my art work and helping others using my artistic talents. I have been drawing and expressing myself creatively since the moment I could hold a pencil. As a small child I would often draw pictures and make models for my family members and friends. I particularly enjoyed entering art competitions and entering school contests such as the Easter egg competition. I found great comfort learning new ways to express my inner thoughts through an art form and I would often write poetry and stories. leaving school in 2003 I was disappointed with the GCSE grades I got although they were enough to get me into a college I felt I had let myself down. I had struggled in school with distractions from home, I particularly struggled in mathematics, I would often spend my time in lesson drawing my friends across the table and doodling in my exercise books. I was pleased with the grade B GCSE I received in art, although I wished I had done better. After working in a supermarket and a bakery I started a family early in life, I absolutely love being a mother and spent all my spare time practicing my artwork, determined to improve my skills, whilst my children were/are at school or in bed, I use all my spare time creating masterpieces to share with the outside world. It can often be a struggle trying to find time to fit in my passion for art and raise a young family. But my focus, patience and passion for what I do gives me the drive to fit everything into my busy schedule. When I'm drawing and painting I find that my mind is cut off from everything else and my full concentration is fully on my art work. Art is my very own therapy and really gives me a release on any of life's stresses I may have endured. Each piece I create I learn a little more, and leave a little part of my heart within my signed finished work. I am determined to carry on improving my art insights and working to create a higher standard each time I start a new piece of work. Each of my work has its very own meaning and story behind why I made that certain piece. I hope you enjoy viewing my art as much as I did creating it.
